Buckle up, it's about to get wicked Romantic...
Gidge and Maggie met back in 2014 working at Wahlburgers restaurant, surrounded by the sensual scent of burgers. Despite a whirlwind summer romance only Sandy and Danny could rival, George headed to Florida to continue his path to becoming a doctor while Maggie packed up and moved to Los Angeles to become America's next starlet. With the luck of a big casino win (no joke, ask us about it) George was able to visit Maggie and then...didn't leave. Having survived eccentric roommates and George's short but shining stint as a celebrity cocktail server, when it came time to apply to medical school, kismet once again prevailed and the couple found their home in New York City. Ten years later, George is now the Associate Chief of Metropolitan Hospital's Emergency Medicine department and Maggie has been starring in the Off-Broadway comedy The Play That Goes Wrong. Together, they made their dreams come true, as corny as it sounds, and they plan to spend the rest of their lives repeating the process.

Welcome to Cape Cod!
​You can get to the Cape a few different ways: You can fly into Logan Airport in Boston, or the two closer airports are T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI and Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis which is roughly 15 minutes from either town we recommend to stay in. All of the above have rental cars options.
​
You can also travel from New York City, Boston and Providence by bus. Check out Peter Pan or others. The train, the Cape Flyer runs from Boston to Cape Cod regularly. Coming from New York City? Check out more travel information here.

Anywhere you stay on Cape Cod is going to be beautiful, but we recommend two quintessential towns to choose from, South Yarmouth & Brewster. Read below for more lodging information and fun things to do.

FAQ's
Are children invited to the celebrations?
Thank you for understanding that we wish we could have your kids join us, but this will be an adults only affair. So kick off your shoes and let your hair down because the parents are gonna party.

But what do I wear?
What the heck is "Summer Cocktail Attire"? Meaning fun florals, bright colors, suits with no ties required and leave your spiky heels at home. We will be celebrating outside. If you are like Maggie and have shown up wearing the same dress as the bridesmaids (twice...), they will be in cobalt and hydrangea blue.
P.s. wear whatever makes you feel festive, you are going to look gorgeous.

Wait, where is this wedding?
In the 1950's, Maggie's great-grandfather bought the property for the Doble girls to share (her grandma and her sisters). Now years later, the old army mess hall affectionately named Pop's Palace has seen many summer celebrations and of course, happy hours. Look for the goose on the blue "Doble" sign and follow the long driveway. From there we will direct you on where to park and party.

Why are your hotel blocks so far in South Yarmouth?
We thought about where guests should stay a lot. Picture Gidge huddled over Google Maps and Maggie pacing back and forth bemoaning "is 20 minutes too far!?" Basically, there are many hotels in one area so people can easily get together and don't require a 3 night minimum.

What if I don't have a car?
​You can rent a car from any of the 3 nearby airports or ride-shares are available. Click here for more travel information.

Will there be a shuttle to the wedding?
Yes, from The Red Jacket Resort and the Ocean Breeze Motel. We will post the schedule closer to July 19th.

​Can I bring a plus one?
Unless specified, our caterer has a maximum number of guests and unfortunately we can't accommodate plus ones. Don't worry, everyone we invited is super cool!
